Above is a 1920s passenger trolley with a gasoline engine on the tracks going from Gainesville to Jefferson, Georgia.
Rick has a large collection of glass plate negatives from 1880 to 1925 that are digitized and restored. I will publish a series of photo articles featuring some of his works.
I doubt there is any difference in NC and Georgia trains.
